Our History

SeaOates Medical was founded in 2006 by Christopher Oates. A 30-year veteran in the medical device and long-term care pharmacy industries, Chris saw an unfulfilled need in the durable medical market. Very few firms were supporting patients in need of incontinence, diagnostic, and diabetes monitoring care within assisted living and other long-term care facilities, especially in rural and low-income areas. This lack of support left these facilities to source these products themselves. By partnering with them to provide the tools and supplies necessary to provide their patients with quality care, Chris was able to leverage lean operations and best-in-class service to provide services where no one else could.

Our mission at SeaOates Medical is to provide our facilites and their patients with the best medical equipment, service, care, and compassion to facilitate patient acces to care when and for whom it is needed most in our society.
